Overview
In the fall of 2023, our marketing team tasked me with developing a versatile hunting-themed design to feature Miller High Life, Leinenkugel's Original and Light. These brands did not provide point-of-sale (POS) materials specific to hunting, a significant marketing opportunity in the Midwest. The project included creating a scrim banner, coroplast cutouts, a coroplast display enhancer, and cardstock posters. These materials could incorporate pricing and feature cans, bottles, and brands, with the flexibility to swap out elements based on account-specific product availability. After discussions, it was determined that waterfowl would serve as the central focus for the campaign.
program Conclusion
This campaign proved highly successful, driving both sales and establishing a more efficient structure for future ordering processes. One challenge our sales team frequently encounters is a lack of clarity regarding what they are ordering, which elements are customizable, and the preset sizes available. Given the extensive customization options and variations offered in this program, I developed a comprehensive sell sheet to support the sales team.
The sell sheet detailed premade sizes, available media formats, and assigned names to each component for easier identification. This resource not only streamlined the sales process but also saved valuable time for the design team by reducing the need for resizing templates to accommodate varied requests. By providing preset sizes and a clear ordering process, I established a more efficient workflow.
After presenting the sell sheet to the sales team, the feedback was overwhelmingly positive. They found the structured approach highly beneficial and requested that future programs follow a similar format. Their appreciation underscored the impact of this solution on both sales and internal processes.
