Overview
The Land of 10k Scoots is an annual multi-day scooter rally that takes place in Minnesota. Each year, they open their submissions for a unique logo to be used on banners, t-shirts, and buttons. To bring attention to artists, this year's theme was Art Crawl.
DESIGN DECISIONS
While any scooters are welcome, the vintage mopeds caught my eye. I decided to create a logo that laid into a fun and groovy retro vibe. I took inspiration from wood block printing and old t-shirt designs. I created the figure using Procreate and then refined it in Illustrator.
